What is the Semiconductor Value Chain Screener?

A tool for comparing the financial metrics (ROIC, EPS, CAPEX, FCF margin, operating income) of 114 companies across 18 semiconductor value-chain layers (design, front-end, back-end, etc.) on a single screen — shown as raw values alongside year-over-year (YoY) and quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) growth. Each layer has its own section, and clicking a column header sorts by that metric.

Clicking a company name opens a chart comparing its actual price movement — alongside KOSPI, SK Hynix, and Samsung Electronics for Korean stocks, or NASDAQ100 and SOX for overseas stocks. The Cycle Signal chart, built from 3 representative companies per layer, is placed side by side with the SOX index as a reference for whether this layer tends to move earlier or later than others in the semiconductor cycle.

※ Financial metrics vary in data availability by company, so some cells may show -.
※ Growth rates can appear exaggerated (hundreds to thousands of %) when the denominator is near zero — we recommend reading the trend direction rather than the absolute value.
※ The Cycle Signal reflects observations from the current semiconductor cycle (2024–2026) only; repeat validation across multiple past cycles has not yet been done.
※ Investment decisions and their consequences are your own responsibility.

Frequently Asked Questions
What data does this screener show?

It shows ROIC, EPS, CAPEX, FCF margin, and operating income for 114 companies across 18 semiconductor value-chain layers, along with year-over-year (YoY) and quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) growth rates.

How are YoY and QoQ different?

YoY (Year over Year) compares to the same period last year, while QoQ (Quarter over Quarter) compares to the immediately preceding quarter. For metrics that are already ratios (%) like ROIC and FCF margin, we show the absolute change in percentage points (%p); other metrics show relative growth (%).

What happens when I click a column header?

The table in that layer’s section is sorted by that column. Clicking again toggles ascending/descending order, and other layer sections are unaffected.

What happens when I click a company?

A chart opens comparing actual price movement — alongside KOSPI, SK Hynix, and Samsung Electronics for Korean stocks, or NASDAQ100 and SOX for overseas stocks. You can use the legend checkboxes to show only the series you want.

How often is the data updated?

Prices are updated automatically every day, and financial metrics are updated in line with quarterly earnings releases. You can check the exact time in each company’s Last Updated column.
